Computer Pals for Seniors Club Eastern Suburbs (also known as Compals East), formed in August 1999, is an Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association(ASCCA) member club. All Committee members and tutors are volunteers.
Based in Bondi Junction in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, our main objective is to assist seniors in using computer and mobile technology to enrich their lives and make them more self-reliant through digital literacy.
Compals East members have a variety of courses to increase their computer skills:
- Windows Basics
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- How to use an iPhone, Android or other Smartphones
- Online Shopping
- Social Media
- Blog Building Fundamentals
These courses are handled by a diverse group of tutors who have experience in businesses and the public sector, conducting classes in different environments:
- Small Classes
- One-on-One
- Seminars
- Digital and Online Learning
